Report money laundering

Companies, persons and authorities subjected to the Anti-Money Laundering Act must report via GoAML.

A money laundering report is information from a company, person or organization indicating a possible crime.

When should obliged entities report to the Danish FIU?

Companies and persons subjected to the Anti-Money Laundering Act must send a report to the Danish FIU when a suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing cannot be completely denied.

Reports must be sent to the Danish FIU via the web-portal GoAML.

What is GoAML?

GoAML is a standard application developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for Financial Intelligence Units worldwide to counter Terrorist Financing and Money Laundering.

For questions pertaining to legislation, please contact your relevant supervisory authority, e.g. The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. If you are in doubt as to how to report your suspicion of financial crime via the GoAML portal, you can contact the Danish FIU.

How to send a report via GoAML

There is not open access to goAML. This means that you and your organization must have a user to be able to report the Danish FIU of suspected money laundering. The first step is therefore to create a user for your organisation.

Guide to registration in GoAML

If you have already created an organization and/or a user who has been approved by either the Danish FIU or the GoAML administrator in your organization, you are ready to log in.

To log in to GoAML, go to the GoAML website. From here, press LOGIN and fill in the username and password you chose when you created your profile.

Then complete two-factor authentication via mobile app or email.
